My client is looking for a CA(SA) to join their dynamic team as Financial Accountant.

Registered CA (SA).

Minimum of 1 years’ post articles experience (Contracting environment experience advantageous).

Proficiency / Interest / Knowledge / Experience in technical aspects of IFRS.

Attention to detail, accuracy and the enjoyment of ‘number crunching’ essential.

Deadline-orientated

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent Microsoft Excel experience and skills.

Adaptability and flexibility in hours of work.

Hands-on individual willing to accept accountability and responsibility.

Good Communication skills.

Knowledge of Income Tax Act.

Well-organised.

Methodical and analytical approach to accounting and standards.

Advanced problem-solving skills.

Own transport.

South African citizen.



Duties:



Support the Group’s monthly Financial Reporting requirements.

Assist in the preparation of the Group’s bi-annual consolidation.

Assist with the Group’s JSE and other statutory reporting requirements.

Assist with the preparation of the Group’s Annual Financial Statements.

Perform technical IFRS research and provide feedback on changes/updates affecting the Group.

Provide technical IFRS support role to the Group and its subsidiaries.

Accuracy and efficiency of performing above functions in time.
