Issues and allocates tickets to attend performances.
Main Duties
Receives telephone credit card bookings and charges relevant accounts
Reconciles all bookings for shows
Files credit card bookings
Issues tickets for door sales
Deals with telephone enquiries / complaints
Deals with ticket sales and block bookings
Balances each terminal daily
Telephones patrons when a performance is cancelled or postponed
Resells of tickets on behalf of patrons

Updates telephone answering message on a daily basis
Organizes bulk drawing of tickets
Sells gift vouchers and souvenirs to patrons
Sells tickets for guided tours
Required Skills
public relations experience : 2 to 3 years
client focus : 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Have a Matric certificate
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience is essential
Do not have criminal record
Further Requirements
Previous experience in a Customer Service position or environment would be advantageous
The candidate must be computer literate especially in MS Word and MS Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizing and planning skills
The candidate must be able to use his/her initiative and possess a problem solving ability
The candidate must be articulate in two or three of the Western Cape’s predominant languages (i.e. English, Afrikaans, IsiXhosa)
The candidate must be able to work shifts and be flexible and prepared to work overtime as and when required
