Description
Nursing skills (including phlebotomy in children)
Good knowledge of scientific study protocols, standard operating procedures and study specific procedures
Good Clinical Practice
Basic financial management skills
Code B driver's licence
Good planning, organising and delegation skills
Ability to effectively communicate with study participants and staff alike
Assertiveness and the ability to work independently


Profile

B-Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Registration with South African Nursing Council
At least 2 years' experience in a clinical research environment or as study coordinator
Staff supervision and management experience
Computer literacy - competence in MS Word and Excel
Demonstration of oral and written language proficiency on order to function optimally in the multilingual environment of the NWU
