Minimum requirements:
Completed degree
Completed SAICA articles
Computer literate (MS Excel, Pastel, Xero, Caseware, Quickbooks, Teammate)

Main purpose of the position:
To perform financial calculations for companies in a wide variety of fields
Preparation of Financial Statements
Develop the internal accounting controls and processes to ensure accurate management reporting
Develop, manage and maintain financial records and reporting systems
Provide high-level management support to a range of financial transactions including valuations, investment, resource, and capital decisions
Provide tax advice and compile tax returns to ensure compliance across payroll, vat, income tax
Accounting, Financial Statement Compilation, and Taxation

Duties and Responsibilities:


Prepare and post entries to the general ledger and manage the monthly close process.
Prepare and implement audit schedules and process re-engineering to reduce financial errors.
Reconcile balance sheets, accounts, and invoices.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports with variance explanations.
Etc.


TASKS WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
