CUSTOMER CARE ATTENDANT – PE (Salary R3900 pm)


The primary job function of the Customer Care Attendant is to ensure that customers’ parking experience is fast, efficient and an overall pleasant experience. They are the face of the company and therefore it is of utmost importance that customer service levels are held to a high standard.


The Customer Care Attendant will report directly to the Site Manager/Supervisor and forms part of the core site operations of the organization.

Requirements:

Matric or Equivalent (Grade 12 – Maths/equivalent a requirement)

Fluent in English
At least 2 years’ experience in a services environment
Computer skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Customer service orientated
High comfort level working in a diverse environment
Responsibilities:


Greeting and attending to customers’ needs efficiently and in a professional manner
Issue tickets when the dispensing or pay station equipment is faulty
Assist customers at pay stations with unreadable tickets or payment issues
Calculate parking charges and collect fees from customers with lost tickets
Escort visitors with lost tickets to the car park office
Assist customers over the intercom in a professional manner and ensure that their needs are fully met
Direct traffic to available exits should there be congestion or faulty booms
Ensure that parking areas are kept clean and orderly to ensure that space usage is maximised
Ensure that documentation and registers are completed correctly and that any discrepancies or variances are reported to the Supervisor/Manager on site
Locate and identify vehicles that are abandoned, illegally parked or parked incorrectly and ensure that they are removed by the owners of the vehicles
Regularly patrol parking areas and spaces to prevent vehicle damage or theft
Regularly patrol parking areas, identify and report any equipment malfunctions
