An expert graduate to manage a butchery and production department in Welkom, Free State.
Requirements:
BCom degree plus 10 years managerial experience gained in a process-driven environment. Preferably in retail FMCG
Self-motivated with a high level of initiative, self-development and a strong sense of urgency.
Proven ability to work under pressure with consistent accuracy.
Analytical aptitude and ability to work with figures.
Self - disciplined, well organized and committed to service delivery.
Preparedness to work irregular hours when necessary.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Computer Literacy in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the Butchery and related production department
Staff managing and training
Responsibility for the department’s budget
Producing regular reports and weekly sales projections
Maintaining GP & Costs
Stock ordering and control and weekly stock-taking
Managing a clean and efficient butchery, including counter layout and hygiene control
Ensuring Legal Compliance.
