To manage and grow our current customer base (Primaries / Mining / Metals / Power & Energy / Water, Waste Water / Food and Beverage) in line withour strategy of increasing our penetration in our Top and Regular accounts with our Products, Services, Added Value Services and Solutions
Duties & Responsibilities
Role + Responsibilities
An excellent knowledge of the product range including specification, application, ordering codes and pricing structures.
A reasonable knowledge of value added services and strategic solutions
A sound technical knowledge and the ability to solve problems.
Preparation of an Annual Revenue budget and territory sales plan.
Achievement of annual sales budget.
Achievement of Year on year agreed sales growth targets.
Setting positive sales territory revenue budgets.
Follow up on quotations and provide meaningful forecast
Scope of Work
Prepare call plans on and complete call reports on CRM tool.
Visit a minimum of 12 Customers per week.
Build a customer organogram per account to include all relevant information to our position with the account.
Increase account penetration and improve our “Cross Selling Index” by means of selling E+H complete range of products and basic services.
Identify and report all opportunities for sales of value added services and solutions.
Identify and report all projects in assigned account portfolio.
Provide market and visit feedback using the call planning and reporting guidelines
Continually refine the customer process in line with our strategy
Competitor analysis in customer base including product range and strengths
Desired Experience & Qualification
Education + Experience
Required
Matric + National Diploma,or N6 Instrumentation and Automation
Matric + Trade test certificate in instrumentation
Trade test in Instrumentation and Automation
5-8 years in Instrumentation
3-5 years’ experience in a Technical Sales Environment
Valid Driver’s License
Advantageous
Experience in the sale and implementation of Process Control Projects and Solutions
Experience in sales in Food and Beverage, Water & Waste Water, Mining.
Proven technical sales background in industrial instrumentation
A good knowledge of the E+H product range, ordering codes and pricing structures
MS Office.

Confidence, motivation, energy and resilience.
Excellent communicator with strong customer service skills
Good planning and organizational skills
Must have the ability to do presentations to customers either on a one-on-one or in a team for Products and/or Solutions.
Has the ability to sell the full basket of products in a competent manner
Demonstrates cross selling ability
Computer literacy with good knowledge of MS Office
Has the ability to use the systems of the company in a competent and disciplined manner (C360/Business Warehouse, engine etc)
Can work independently
Can work under pressure
Valid driver’s license Code EB (formerly code 08)
Hours of Work + Travel
Must be prepared to travel and spend time away from home, should it be required either for customer visits or training.
