POSITION Handyman (X2)
Location: Cape Town
Department Facilities
Reporting to Regional Operations Manager

Location: CT CBD & Belhar. | High Energy is key as there are long hours on the position/must be flexible | Good physical fitness | Understanding of Service Delivery/adherence to standards. | Customer Service Experience | CTC 5 000 (dependent on experience, qualifications etc.)

• Handyman with at least 2 years’ experience in the trade or semi-skilled exposure to the company’s Handyman work requirements.

Key Performance Areas
Duties
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance:
• Installation of window-sliders stays, and handles;
• General carpentry skills (repairs to wooden doors/skirting etc.);
• Small scale building and plastering projects;
• Replacement of door hinges;
• Tilling repairs and projects;
• Mounting of various objects: fire signs, key boxes, notice boards etc.;
• Sealing of showers/kitchen tops;
• Replacing carpets;
• Blind repairs and service;
• Repair the lockers and handles;
• Drywall repairs and patching;
• Maintenance of tools issued to you;
• Taking care and cleaning power tools after use;
• Reporting any faulty equipment or hazards in the workplace;
• Minimizing wastage of materials;
• Accurate completion of all job cards within the expected turnaround times;
• Will do weekend duty by rotation;
• Will need to work the extended hours between November-February to prepare vacate and new academic intake;
• Completing all task to the client's standard; and
• All other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
