Job Purpose
Bidvest International Logistics is looking for a dynamic and driven HR Administrator to join their HR Team, based in Greenstone, Johannesburg.
The successful incumbent will provide the full spectrum of Human Resources Administrative support to , which include HR Administration, Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Talent Management and Employee Relations.
The role requires a candidate with good decision-making skills, have a good understanding of Labour legislation and ability to interpret and apply HR related policies and procedures. Have great problem solving skills and pay attention to detail.
Qualifications & Experience
Matric / Grade 12
Degree in HR Management / related HR degree
5 + years experience in an HR administrative role
Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint & PowerBI
Knowledge of HR related legislation, i.e., BCEA, LRA, EEA, POPI Act
Must have at least 1 year experience working on SAGE 300 People, modules include Employee Management, Job Management, report generation
Key Responsibilities
Not limited to:-
Recruitment & Selection
Obtaining relevant authorisation recruitment documentation prior to advertisement
Placing advertisement onto recruitment platform
Screening CV's
Arranging interviews, including liaising with recruitment agencies and candidates
Ensure all compliance documentation is in order and available
Perform necessary credit and reference checks
Compile offers of employment
Employee Onboarding
Preparation of new employee induction packs
Induction sessions with all new employees
Collation of all new employees intake documents
Capturing new employees onto HRM system, including uploading relevant documents, i.e., ID, contracts, provident docs, MA docs etc.
Ensuring payroll receives relevant intake document timeously
Creating new employee files Exiting Employees
Employee Offboarding
Sending out termination packs to exiting employees
Issuing mandatory termination documents/forms
Capturing termination information onto HRM system
Ensuring payroll receive relevant termination documents timeously
General
Employee change documents are actioned and prepared in accordance with policies and procedures & payroll is notified timeously
Responsible for the professional maintenance of the HRM system
Attend to general queries in a timeous manner
Provide HR reports as and when requested to do so
Maintain knowledge with regards to employee benefits, ie, retirement funding, medical aids etc and be able to guide and advise employees appropriately.
Provide an advisory service to employees and Management in matters pertaining to Industrial Relations
Provide an advisory service to employees and Management in matters pertaining to HR related policies and procedures
Maintain a high level of professionalism within the HR Department and Organisation
Maintain and compile HR Policies and Procedures as and when required
Ensure employee files and general filing is always accurate and up to date
Participate in internal and external audits
