Main responsibilities:
This role will provide generalist and administrative support to the Human Resources Manager and is the first point of contact for all HR admin-related queries. In addition, the role is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of day to day HR administrative support and client service to hotel management and employees, including - but not limited to - offer letters, contracts of employment, employee leave, remuneration & benefits, record-keeping, reporting and information management systems. The role is also responsible for recruitment and selection, employee wellness, BBBEE collation and WSP/ATR submission. In addition, the role is responsible for the accurate execution of payroll which includes maintaining an accurate HR information system, reporting, checking payroll, maintaining time and attendance system, load and terminate employees, capture and monitor leave patterns and any ad-hoc payroll related functions.
Key requirements and Competencies
A minimum of 3 years HR admin and payroll experience.
Relevant HR Diploma or Degree and working knowledge of relevant legislation
MS Excel (advanced) MS Outlook & MS Word
Experience in Sage People and ESS is advantageous
Experience in Trac tech time & attendance system is advantageous
Tech savvy (or at least interest in technology, systems and social media).
