Job Purpose: To provide psychosocial support with a focus on face to face bereavement counselling and to promote psychological and emotional wellbeing. The objective is to offer a comprehensive and integrated psychological wellbeing service.

Onsite face to face referrals: /Face to face Referrals

To see clients for face to face onsite counselling’s where applicable.
To see clients for face to face counselling preferably at clients home.
To offer support, psychosocial education, coping skills, bereavement counselling and advice.
Work in a multi-disciplinary team (legal, financial, health and physical advice).
Delivered by professional and experienced personnel.
To deliver and maintain excellent work ethic and ensure the high standards of Healthi Choices are maintained.
Work in a multi-disciplinary team (legal, financial, health and physical advice).
Delivered by professional and experienced affiliates on Healthi Choices network (social workers and psychologists).
To deliver and maintain excellent work ethic and ensure the high standards of Healthi Choices are maintained.
Case manage cases to ensure that employees receive the necessary care and support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

To provide face to face bereavement counselling at clients residence
Providing wellbeing service information to participants.
Making referrals to appropriate resources to external and internal resources for additional wellbeing support within the services/programmes.
Client to be serviced as and when request is received
QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree or equivalent in a wellbeing-related field such as:
Psychology
Social work
At least 2-3 years’ working experience.
Experience in the wellbeing industry preferred.
Experience in bereavement counselling advantageous
SKILLS REQUIRED

Coaching - Facilitating the development of other’ knowledge and skills; providing timely feedback and guidance to help them reach goals.
Adaptability – maintaining effectiveness in varying environments and with different tasks, responsibilities and people.
Communication – expressing ideas effectively; adjusting language or terminology to the characteristics and needs of the audience.
Fluent in English, African languages advantageous.
Customer service orientation – proactively developing customer relationships by making efforts to listen to and understand the customer; anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority to customer satisfaction.
Teamwork / Collaboration – working effectively with team or peers to accomplish organisational goals.
Work standards – setting high standards of performance.
