INSIDER SALES REPRESENTATIVE:
In search of a talented and driven insider sales representative to join a fast paced, healthy, and growing wholesale business. Someone that is willing to grow in a company and that can thrive under pressure, as well as a leader to supervise, lead and manage a team of employees to ensure smooth running of day to day business.
This position offers a healthy and positive work environment, great opportunity for growth accompanied by different challenges on a daily basis that keep things interesting.
Applicants will need to form part of a sales and warehousing team and ensure that daily operations run effectively and efficiently.
Key performance areas will be as follows:
Present and sell products to walk in and bulk buying customers.
Successfully execute and deliver sales, marketing, and quotations.
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling and marketing strategies.
Ensure quotations and leads convert to sales.
Establish and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, competition, problems and potential for new products/services.
Ensure continuous improvement.
Achieve sales targets and outcomes.
Assist with general administrative duties, and ensure smooth operations.
Successful candidates are required to have:
Matric (minimum qualification). Tertiary education such as a BA/B.Com degree would be to your advantage.
Proven work experience as a sales representative.
A team player with the ability to lead people.
Excellent knowledge of MS office and general business English.
Highly motivated and driven.
Excellent selling and negotiation skills.
Prioritizing, time manage, and organizational skills.
