Junior Accountant

Duties: (include but not limited to)

Bank statement processing
Accounting- and processing up to trial balance
VAT processing and VAT returns
Processing journals
Basic compilations of Financial Statements
Filing and annual audit assistance
Assistance with income- and provisional taxes
Ad hoc tasks as requested from management

Requirements:

A tertiary accounting qualification

Previous experience as a Bookkeeper
Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans) - read, write and speak
Able to work in a team and report to a manager
Execute instructions effectively and efficiently.
Good organisation skills
Own reliable transport
