Teaching and Learning Administrator

Champion the use of Moodley and promote its wider adoption
Provide advice, guidance, encouragement and support for staff and students in the use of moodle
Participate in the development and maintenance of a knowledge base and supporting documentation regarding administrative access and functions of the LMS
Develop training material for users of the system to review and learn from. This should include both learners and instructors
Work with Managers/Academics and project proposers to cost, review and monitor proposals using technology to enhance teaching
Work with the manager and other stakeholders around the program roadmap to ensure that courses are delivered into the LMS and made available to learners in a timely manner

Support day-to-day administration of the LMS through the creation/ scheduling of new courses/classes, calendar management, eLearning content, user enrolments, activities and resources creation. Update courses/categories/content/enrolments on the Moodle website as directed by the Manager/Appropriate Manager
Support other LMS administrators with testing content, enhancements and general system functionality
Own, identify, research, and resolve LMS user questions and issues
Organize, attend and report on meetings and directed. File necessary paperwork
Perform other appropriate to the role

Requirements:

Experience in using and administrating LMS and Moodle features
Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
The ability to prioritize workloads and balance long-term and short-term demands
The ability to work independently or as part of a team
Enthusiasm for digital learning
Research and recommend developments that use technology to enhance teaching and learning
