Duties & Responsibilities • To perform repair, maintenance and breakdown activities where necessary on the plant/s.
• Uphold and ensure the highest standards of safety.
• Undertake scheduled planned maintenance.
• Building up and repairs to plant and equipment.
• Perform standby duties.
• Work overtime on week-ends, public holidays and during shutdowns as required.
• Comply with Site specific safety regulations, procedures and company rules.
• Comply with relevant safety regulations as prescribed in the OHS act.
Qualifications & Experience • Matric.
• Completed recognised apprenticeship and is a trade tested Fitter.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a chemical, petrochemical or process plant environment.
• Computer literate for planned maintenance system and email.
• Experience in compressors, motor and gearbox alignment.
• Pump overhaul and replacement, steam plant maintenance.
