Repair Shop Assistant (Benoni)

Requirements:

Grade 10 Certificate.
Minimum 1 year workshop experience.
Previous experience on commercial vehicle maintenance advantageous.
Experience in basic vehicle repairs essential.
Non negotiable - Exposure in an assistant role to engine, gearbox and diff overhaul process/procedure.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must be able to work without direct supervision.
Must be bilingual.
Communication – Ability to work with people at different levels within the organisation.
Responsibility:

Attend to repair and maintenance as assigned.

Assist with on-road repairs.
Maintain levels of productivity and efficiency as instructed.
General workshop duties.
Ensure that all tools and equipment is in a safe and working order
Ensure that work area is safe prior to starting work.
