Duties & Responsibilities
Key Performance Areas –

Grow sales to achieve targets
Weekly face to face appointments
Daily activity updates on CRM and weekly reporting
Focus on area plan accounts
Cold calling
Demonstrate products at customers
Summary of Job –

Sales Engineers needed to join SMC covering the Gauteng/Port Elizabeth/East London/ Capetown/Durban areas. Your overall goal will be to increase our share of the Pneumatics market
Be responsible for developing a strong relationship between the customer and their key stakeholders to understand how we can add value to their business
Develop, implement and maintain account plans using our proven business strategy models.

Promote special products to meet customers’ needs
Gain awareness of the competition within your area
Desired Experience & Qualification
5 years technical experience
Diploma/Degree in mechanical engineering
Other Minimum Requirements –

Pneumatics knowledge (added advantage)
Technical / engineering knowledge
Sales experience
Full Driving Licence
Great communication skills
Package & Remuneration
Market related depending on level of exp + benefits
