Continue to APPLY!Management of internal and external SHEQ System for Frogfoot Projects - New Fiber Installation builds for multi dwelling units and fiber infrastructure builds into suburbs. Day to day management of site safety issues * Responsible for developing and implementing health & safety programes on a project in collaboration with site management, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation * Incident investigation * Administration of safety system requirements and files. * Advises Site / Project Manager on all material, equipment and safety-related matters. * Conduct site inspections for compliance to Project, Client and Legal Requirements. Management of all SHEQ issues dealing with contractors – ensuring that all projects are run according to Frogfoot SHEQ Specifications, OHS Act and Construction Regulations.
Qualifications
Samtrac, MSRM, Riskmaq, Shemtrac, Nebosh IGC or ICC (Must)
Incident and Accident investigation training (Strongly Recommended)
ISO Internal Auditor (Recommended)
Risk Assessment training (Must)
Supervisory training (Recommended)
Fire training (Recommended)
First Aid Level 1 (Recommended)
Diploma in Safety Management/Nadsam/BTech or equivalent (Preferable)
Work Experience
Worked as an SHEQ Officer for at least 2 years, preferably in construction telecommunications experience preferred
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Worked as an SHEQ Officer on standalone projects and without direct supervision
Have proven ability to draw up EHS files/plans, implement and manage them
Have some experience in ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001
Must Have
Own vehicle with a valid drivers license
