Job Description
The main purpose of the Store Manager position is to drive the growth and profitability of the Store through the effective management of its employees, financial, and technological resources, and ensuring efficient application of the company’s policies and procedures and management best practice in order to exceed all stakeholders expectations.

The Store Manager will be expected to provide a presence in the area, growing the brand in the community and expanding on the stores customer base. The incumbent will be required to maintain optimal stock levels, ensure the store meets budgets and sales targets, meets all safety requirements and conforms to all company policies and procedures. All problem areas must be identified, dealt with and reported on timeously.

The following are the Key Result areas for the position

Responsible for profitability and efficiency of the branch sales targets and budgets
Accountability for the day to day operations, administration, customer sales and service and overall management and control of the branch personnel
Growth of brand in the community and expansion of the customer base in the area
Maintenance of optimal stock levels
All safety requirements / adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Requirements
5 - 10 years retail experience – preferably building materials / DIY / construction

3 years Supervisory / Management experience
Preferably a commerce Bachelor’s Degree / or equivalent experience
Advanced Excel / Access and relational databases skills
