Continue to APPLY!An exciting career opportunity exists at our Paper Mill in Rosslyn for a Transport Administrator, reporting to the Finished Goods & Distribution Manager.
Key Responsibilities includes:
Process client orders, invoices , quotations and payments
Perform basic bookkeeping activities creating and maintain database records
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to organize, provide documents and handling of queries timeously.
Implement and evaluate procurement policies and procedures around weigh bridge transaction flow and documents required
Ensure data is entered into the system (weigh ware and JDE)
Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized JDE system – validate these transactions with documentation supplied.
Maintain updated supplier information and pricing within Procurement and Finance department policies.
Match documentation for reconciliations with physical site entry, JDE entries and weigh ware entries
Do perpetual stock verifications on loads received.
Verify pricing on the invoices
Sign off on reconciliations submitted for payment. Payments will be monthly.
Obtains relevant data from appropriate sources, ensures quality and accuracy of data, and delivers timely. (Weighbridge ticket, moisture report & Delivery note)
Assist with stock stocktaking both on raw material yard and finished goods warehouses as and when required.
GRN waste
Create PO’s using a signed quotation or a tax invoice
The Ideal Candidate should have:
Matric
Diploma in Logistics/Accounting
1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment
JDE exposure will be an advantage
Weigh ware exposure will be an advantage
Microsoft Office suite(excel, word, outlook)
