Code 14 Driver + PDP - Bloemfontein

My client with a national footprint is seeking a Code 14 driver with a valid PDP and 5 yrs code 14 driving experience to join their dynamic team in Bloemfontein


The following Key Performance Areas are covered by the position:

Transporting of company products
Complete daily checklist on truck and report all deviances to Supervisor
Accept responsibility for all transport and delivery documentation and ensure signed POD’S and trip sheet are handed in at dispatch office upon return
Assist with offloading of stock at clients
Accept total responsibility of the company products and vehicle
Good general knowledge of steel products
Adhere to all lawful instructions
Assist to avoid damage to material and truck
Assist yard staff to load material

Ensure that the truck is clean at all times


Required Skills
driving skills : 4 to 5 years
Candidate Requirements
The ability to communicate in English is a prerequisite for the position - NOT NEGOTIABLE
Minimum educational qualification of grade 12 (matric) - NOT NEGOTIABLE

Must be willing to work overtime when required

Knowledge of the Freestate region would be an advantage

Good general knowledge of the mechanics of the vehicle

Must be physically capable of offloading stock at the necessary site

5 years code 14 driving experience - NOT NEGOTIABLE
Valid code 14 driver’s licence with PDP
