Counter Sales - Automotive

Our client in the Automotive Industry seeks Counter Salesman in the Automotive industry.

Must have relevant experience.

Candidate Requirements (please do not apply if you do not meet ALL requirements)

Matric certificate /Grade 12 or equivalent Secondary Education.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in automotive replacement parts retail.
Basic computer skills (ERP systems) will be an advantage
Good knowledge of replacement parts and catalogue reading
Excellent communication and people skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be a target driven and self-motivated
Must be a team player

Roles & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Build and maintain Customer Relationships
Market and Sell product range
Reporting and record keeping
Additional tasks as required by supervisor
The Counter-salesman is responsible for face-to-face interaction with walk-in customers, who are mainly end-users. Candidate must correctly identify the needs of the customer, quote and process customers’ orders promptly. He must give expert advice on customers’ requirements and alternatives.
