External Sales Representative

Our Client in Printing is seeking an External Sales Representative to join their team.
Achieve a minimum sales target consistently every month.
Achieve daily, weekly & monthly targets for orders put in and orders invoiced.
Service existing clients. (Clients who phone, walk in even if they are not your clients)
Canvas new clients, cold call on both existing and new clients based on weekly schedules.
Performance - target based on a 3 monthly cycle.
Update delivery dates every morning before 07h30
Update contact profiles of clients
Update quote status on a daily basis with diary notes
Daily call sheets - MANDATORY
Planning schedules must be done by the 25th of each month for the next month - MANDATORY
Assist with internal sales and enquiries when needed.
Build relations with clients.
Provide feedback regarding costing/prices, opposition and market conditions e.g. reasons for quotes being unsuccessful – follow up on unsuccessful quotes

Complete call / time sheets – daily.
Produce monthly reports i.e. report on quotes, unsuccessful sales, areas of difficulty etc. and give forecast for next month’s sales figures
Minimum Requirements:
• Employee must have a driver’s license
• Employee must have their own vehicle to travel with daily
• Employee must be able to organise their family life in such a manner that they are able to work overtime at short notice and also travel out of town
• 3 to 5 yrs experience – in sales
