Fleet Planner

Job Description:


Maintain driver schedule working to ensure driver schedule is in alignment with both drivers and customer needs
Proactively address safety concerns
Communicate any issues or needs to fleet management for resolution
Oversight of fleet planning and the creation of an executable freight delivery plan.
Address all customer needs and concerns as they arise
Oversight of planning for on time delivery to ensure customer goals are being met
Identify areas of opportunity
Assist with the oversight of drivers
Coach where performance improvement is needed

Minimum Requirements:

Matric / Grade 12
Minimum 3 – 5 years experience as a Fleet Planner
Experience in a transport industry
Experience with flat deck and taut liner trucks or similar
