This position is based at Johannesburg Park Station.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA 1: Parcels Capturing

· Receive parcels from customers as per SOP

· Capture waybill according to Intercape logistics procedure

· Complete Indemnity form (completeness is not negotiable) ensure the customer signs the Indemnity form

· Receive money from customers

· Finalize waybills, see that the customer signs the finalized waybill

· Attach waybill and Indemnity document together

· Attach all waybills/indemnity documents to a copy of your cash up and hand to the Logistics compliance officer on duty.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA 2: Warehouse Coordinating

· Make sure that space in the cages are not over exceeded

· Make sure that cages are packed correctly

· See that all equipment is in place at end of shift, this includes Crowd barriers, Trolleys and Fork Lifts

· Co ordinate cleaning of warehouse and outside cages when receiving is complete

· Ensure all gates are locked before end of shift

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA 3: Dispatch

· Assist compliance officers in dispatching and loading of parcels headed to Malawi

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA 4: Cash Handling

· Receive cash from customers

· Use till as provided

· Lock gates so that no one can enter your area

· Drop cash when receiving up to R 3000 max. as per SOP

· At the end of shift make sure that all cash is dropped, cash up is signed and submitted to supervisor on duty

KEY PERFORMANCE AREA 5: Effective utilization of all systems used in Intercape

· Responsible for effective utilisation, accurate capturing, and thorough record keeping on all systems relevant to perform daily tasks within department.

· Responsible to ensure that you have received training on Move/SOPS/the Booking System/all other applicable systems or have provided training to direct reports.

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Have a proficient knowledge of the company, its divisions, associates, people, products, service and website.

· Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive and appropriate solutions.

· Must have experience from a Legal environment.

· Research and provide legal opinions on a variety of issues and new business projects within the business to proactively identify, assess and manage legal risk.

· Must be willing to assist in general administrative duties.

· Enjoy working independently as well as be part of a team.

· Assist fellow colleagues in the daily running of company related tasks.

· Be focused on providing work of an extremely high quality.

· Show ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.

· Very good organizational skills.

· Have attention to detail.

Minimum Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

· Matric

· Minimum 1-2 years’ relevant experience

· Experience in the transport industry will be advantageous

· Computer literate

· Must be an RSA citizen
