Junior Sales Representative

SYNOPSIS:

An established and growing Hydraulic wholesale and retail company in the East Rand is looking for an energetic Junior Sales Representative. This is a 3 and or 6 months’ probation period position (Training purpose, the months will depend on the candidate’s knowledge, ability and willingness to learn). We require someone who is available to start as soon as possible and who can quickly adapt to the company and the challenges of the role.

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION:

Customer service
Invoicing, Quotes, Queries etc.
Obtaining new wholesale and retail businesses
Cold calling client base list
Bulk selling and distribution to clients
Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients (where needed) and creating new relationships

Able to follow instructions and company procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Matric
Relevant sales and admin experience
2 + years’ experience within a Sales Department
2 + years’ experience within a Hydraulic Industry will be an advantage
Driver’s License (Proof required)
Own Vehicle
Live in the surrounding area of Jet Park (East Rand)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

PC Literate
SAP experience (not necessary, but an advantage)
Hydraulic Industry knowledge will be a strong advantage (Hoses and Fittings)
Excellent telephone etiquette
Excellent people skills
BENEFITS:

R 10 000 neg. based on experience and knowledge
Car allowance + petrol card will be discussed in the interview
