Lecturer (Curriculum Sudies)

Duties & Responsibilities
Lecture Life Sciences Education
Conduct research and publish in accredited journals
Supervise postgraduate students
Promote community engagement
Perform academic administrative duties related to teaching and learning
Liaise with academic and non-academic units and external parties in a responsible manner
Undertake any other departmental duties as may be required
Ability to work with the lecturers of the different majors in the programme
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Good communication skills
Possess applied Practical and Professional Content knowledge in the field of Life Sciences
Be able to maintain professional relations between lecturers and students
Desired Experience & Qualification

A minimum of Master's Degree in Life Sciences
A teaching qualification in Life Sciences
A minimum of three years teaching experience at secondary school level
A minimum of three years teaching experience at tertiary level
Possession of Doctoral qualification will be an advantage
Must have a driver's licence
