Key Performance Indicators
Daily operations Supervision:
Receiving procedure
Warehousing procedure
Dispatch procedure
Delivery procedure
Debrief procedure
Returns procedure
POD vetting and scanning procedure
System application and maintenance (Freightware)

Fleet Supervision:
Pre trip inspection sheets
Vehicles random inspections
Vehicle maintenance
Service schedules and escalation (service, upgrades etc.)
Driving discipline and tracking
Profit and Loss:
Site overtime
Utilization
Vehicle consumptions
General expenses (electricity, water etc.)
Control of damages (Racking, forklift, driving incidents etc.)
People and staff Supervision:
Staff Discipline
Staff engagement (meetings, motivations etc.)
Succession planning (admin + Blue collar)
Risk Management:
Security personnel supervision
Cameras (loading, offloading, seal process etc.)
Incomplete PODs / Claims investigations
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Reporting:
Comms Forum – Daily
Stock Recon - daily
Stock Age Analysis- weekly
Misroute and Returns – weekly
Damage Received report – weekly
Re-delivery Report – weekly
Meetings with staff (Blue + White Collar) – Weekly
Shop steward engagement – Monthly
Coastal Asset and staff register – monthly

Maintain professionalism at all levels
Qualifications:
Matric
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Senior role
Relevant tertiary qualification is essential
Systems knowledge essential
